Lydia Smith is a sculptor on major film productions and with the British team at the Harbin Ice and Snow festival in China. Winning the prize and award for their creativity.

Blueprints of Form is her new exhibition exploring the intricate relationship between humanity and technology. The exhibition delves into how our lives are often perceived as predetermined, artworks sculpted to follow set paths like lines on a blueprint. The artwork invites viewers to contemplate the intersection of man and machine.

Her work of often a theme of human connection, encompasses subtopics including ancient history, technology, science, and spirituality. She uses the physical and digital landscape to create sculptures, paintings and digital art. From her sculptures, Lydia uses a special sensor to scan the forms, to then distort the artwork to create a digital artwork. Collaborating with other artists, predominantly painters, to wrap their paintings around the digital sculpture to create co-authored digital artworks.
